Description
This is the first time I attempted capturing the milky way this close to sunrise (at nautical twilight) and this early in the spring. If I wasn't being lazy I could have captured it earlier in the night when the milky way is more horizontal over the horizon. I will try again but it may be too late until next year as the galaxy will start to appear to rise more vertically and overhead. Still, I think having the twilight and the milky way in one shot is kind a cool if I may say so myself even with all the clouds that were rolling in from all directions. There is also a bright star (possibly another galaxy or a planet) on the right side of the galactic centre shining bright even through the clouds - Not sure what it is...
This is a 6 shot horizontal panorama @ 14mm, f2.4, 35 second exposures, ISO 3200 (I am amazed Lighroom can stitch together shots this wide BTW)
