Description
Here is a pic from my regular bi-yearly trip to examine the state of the old boat skeleton. This photo was taken today at 6:23 AM with the Rokinon SP 14mm f/2.4 @ f13, 24 seconds, ISO 200, single shot without any filters. It was still dark enough out to expose for this long but even without the long expo there was barely a ripple on the surface. I took another similar pic about 1/2 hr. later with an ND filter and a different lens from a slightly different angle and even though it's similar it has a totally different feel. (i think) I will post that later. This old "boat graveyard" is a gem but unfortunately on private property (owner's permission to access is required). The whole area is quite polluted slightly reeking of diesel. Still, there is all sorts of old rusty heavy equipment all around around which would make excellent backdrop for astrophotography and northern lights shots. Will have to try that here.
The lights on the horizon are from the Fort William First Nation community.

Such contrast between the rigid lines of the wreckage and the soft lines in the sky and water!!! Beautiful!!
